The Trip Fantastic plays free improv comedy shows.
These shows are upstairs at O'Ceallaigh Traditional Music Bar in Groningen every two weeks. Imagine a room with a bar packed like sardines while a bunch of comedians prance around the small stage area up front. People have a drink, people have a laugh, and then we do it all over again two weeks later. That's Trip.
Improvisational comedy is live theater where everything is created spontaneously by the actors. We take suggestions from the audience, and then nobody knows what happens next, including us! Trip mixes a crew of veterans and fresh talent, jazzes everyone up with five cups of coffee, and then unleashes the show on an unsuspecting audience – free, of course.
The show is every two weeks on a Thursday night. Arrive early for the good seats!
